The following inventory with no modifications is required for all matches:
- 16 spectral arrows
- 1 bow
- 1 stack of any normal food (no golden variants or food with effects)
- 1 armor set
RULES OF PLAY
1. All forms of combat are prohibited; the goal is to tag the opponent(s) once, not to kill
2. Players start in the Safe Zone; when tagged, they return to the Safe Zone
3. You cannot tag or be tagged while in the Safe Zone; stay within the area of play during a match
4. Radar is legal and encouraged
5. Visible hitbox mods or the use of F3+B is expressly ILLEGAL
ARMOR/UNIFORM GUIDELINES
Armor sets are a fun way to stand out as a team or solo player, but they cannot impede the flow of the game or be too camouflaged.
Uniforms in game modes with more than 1 player on each team are now required. Uniforms must use at least 2 pieces of armor. Teams must have 2 sets of uniforms with different primary colors.
TYPE OF ARMOR
- Armor may be any material
- Enchantments beyond unbreaking and feather falling are prohibited!
- ANY METEORIC PIECES ARE BANNED
- Trims are acceptable and encouraged
ARMOR COLOR
- The armor's color must contrast with the arena, e.g. players in a mostly green arena cannot have the same shade of green armor
- For Doubles/Teams, the armor sets must be identical for each side
- For Teams, it is recommended to have a Home armor set that compliments your arena, and a simpler Away set
PLAYER HEAD HELMETS
- Using a player head from fishing as a helmet is permitted; Doubles/Teams may wear matching heads
REFEREE RULES
An unbiased referee is crucial to facilitate a fair and balanced game.
TIMING
- Referee is responsible for tracking the match time
- Referee blows horn to start and end a match
- Referee must alert players when 1 minute is remaining
FOULS
Minor violations to rules constitute a foul.
- Players receive one foul per game from the referee serving as a verbal warning
- Any further violations result in the player being ejected from the game, or a forfeit in singles
- Doubles/Teams with an ejected player may choose to forfeit or play with a number disadvantage
MODERATION
Certain scenarios will require a ruling from the referee. Some examples:
- Player A is tagged by an arrow and then releases the arrow they had nocked, tagging Player B. As Player A's arrow was not in flight before they were tagged, Player B is still in the game despite being tagged.
- A major lag spike hits the server, and TPS drops to single digits. At the discretion of the referee, depending on how significant an interference the lag spike was, a Mulligan may be called and the match can be restarted.
ARENA DESIGN RULES
Arena designs must be approved by the commission and an arena inspector. It is recommended that you build it and present it in creative before constructing it on live.
DESIGN IDEALS
- Try to make the arena even, it does not have to be symmetrical
- Arena size must be the same as the sizing tool base
